Dr. Barajas’ journey to becoming a top-rated dentist in Bonita began at Orange Coast College. He was still trying to decide on a career when a family member (who worked in the dental field) gave him an opportunity to shadow at his office. When Dr. Barajas saw that being a dentist would combine several of his interests, including his love for details, he knew that it was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life!
After attending Orange Coast College and Long Beach State, Dr. Barajas attended dental school at the UCLA School of Dentistry. That was more than 30 years ago now, and he’s still as passionate as ever about treating patients and developing genuine relationships with each one. In fact, he spends a lot of his time outside of the office pursuing advanced training so that he can provide those in his treatment chair with the absolute best care. Today, he is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the San Diego County Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Plus, he has pursued continuing education on a wide range of topics, including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ therapy, and sleep apnea therapy.
Dr. Barajas and his wife have been married for more than 33 years. Together, they have three sons and a rescue dog, Lexi. As for hobbies, he thoroughly enjoys skiing, hiking, doing CrossFit, gardening, and working on home improvement projects!
